Call of support to our Paralympians

“My name is Omar Echeverria Espinoza, National Selected in Adapted Archery. I have been practicing this sport for more than seven years and training to participate in the Paralympic Games. Last March I did it, I won a gold medal in my category and a team gold medal in the Para-Pan American games in Monterrey, effectively qualifying to represent my country in the Paralympic Games in Tokyo this August 2021.

It should be noted that it is the first time in the history of sport that a Mexican represents his country in this category. Before this event I will also compete in the Czech Republic in a preparatory tournament from July 3-11.”

Omar has not only fulfilled his dream. Omar is a reflection of perseverance, courage and improvement. Omar lived in Tulum and after a tragic car accident at the age of 17, he was left in a wheelchair. Since then Omar has focused on sports. Omar is an example not only for people in the same situation, but for many who, having everything ahead of them, are not able to face their problems and overcome them.

That is why Fundación Zamna A.C. Supports Omar on his life’s journey. Omar requests a sports chair with all the necessary accessories, a bow and its accessories and additional expenses for current and future tournaments. Supporting Omar has a value of 223,489 pesos and we are going to do it!

In the women’s branch, we support Lya Daniela Sánchez Tadeo, a gold medalist in a mixed team, doing a double with Omar Echeverría and achieving her classification to the next Para Pan American games, Monterrey 2020 representing the country where she was runner-up individually, and travels to Prague to compete for your pass to Tokyo.

Both athletes request our help. With one dollar you can change a life.
